Open iPhone Settings, find Rema and check that notifications are allowed. Keep in mind that Focus can hide regular reminders, while urgent ones get through if time sensitive notifications are allowed for Rema. In Rema itself you can see everything under Settings → Permissions.

Rema needs access to your location. iOS notices that you arrived or left with a delay of up to a few minutes, and the error is bigger with a small radius, so a radius of 150 meters or more works best. iOS watches at most twenty places at the same time.

Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen, then tap Edit, Add Widget and choose Rema. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen itself and tap Customize.

Say “Remind me in Rema” and dictate what and when. Siri also understands “What is next in Rema”, “Mark done in Rema” and “Snooze in Rema”. The same actions are in the Shortcuts app.

On iOS 18 open Control Center, tap “+” and add the Rema control. If your iPhone has an Action button, you can assign Rema to it in iPhone Settings under Action Button.

Sign in to your account on the old phone so your reminders are saved on the server. Then sign in to the same account on the new phone and they will show up there.

Open Settings → Account → Delete account in Rema. All your data is removed from the server right away.

The watch app installs together with Rema on iPhone. If it is not on your watch, open the Watch app on iPhone and install Rema under Available Apps.
